The business-orientated exhibition for textiles and fashion is set to take place in Cape Town from Tuesday, 19 to Thursday, 21 October, 2021. The allfashion sourcing expo will turn the V&A Waterfront into a hub that showcases the latest in fabrics, design and trends within the fashion industry. The event will also feature international sourcing and procurement businesses that can import various materials to Africa.
The allfashion sourcing expo attracts around 3000 attendees every year from all corners of the globe. With 350 exhibitors setting up shop for the event, there will certainly be something of interest to anyone in these industries. The showcase also hosts influential seminars and trend forums, along with creative fashion shows that highlight the latest textiles and looks.
Statistics from recent allfashion sourcing shows reveal that the expo accounts for 39% of purchasing decisions in the textile sector. These come about through just under 300 business-to-business meetings that take place during the three-day event. The showcase will run concurrently with an online event that can be attended by clothing manufacturers, textile buyers, fashion designers and procurement specialists.
The hybrid expo will feature a virtual pop-up showroom for those exhibitors that are unable to attend in-person, along with the traditional face-to-face exhibition stands. Once the entire showcase is done, the online platform will remain live for three months, which will further maximise the reach and effectiveness of the seminars and exhibitions.
There will also be a Fringe Programme to supplement the main showcase, which will form part of the online platform. Attendees can expect the following from this programme:
